Developing photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and commercializing integrated frequency combs, Solinide Photonics AB has secured $4.6M in seed funding. The startup, which spun off from Chalmers University of Technology, focuses on PICs based on silicon nitride core waveguides and its patented frequency comb technology.
The seed round saw participation from Chalmers Ventures, Navigare Ventures, PSV Hafnium, Turbine Capital, Norrsken Evolve, and Almi Greentech Fund. Solinide Photonics AB was formerly known as Iloomina AB.
