Aretto has raised $6.1M in a Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, a bet on the kids’ footwear brand’s tech-forward approach to shoes that grow with children. The funding marks a notable step for the Mumbai-based company, which has positioned itself around comfort, sustainability, and a “Made In India” identity.
Aretto’s flagship product, the LEAPS shoe, is designed to expand as kids’ feet do, backed by podiatrist recommendations and a focus on research with moms. The company says its growth has been strong-threefold, by its own account-though it’s keeping specifics close to the vest. With fresh capital from Peak XV, the brand is likely to push further into a crowded market where parents are increasingly weighing durability and fit against price.
