Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting-L.D Waxson Taiwan has acquired Dermatouch, a skincare brand specializing in dermocosmetics, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction brings the dermatologist-oriented product line under the ownership of the Wipro affiliate, which operates across consumer care and lighting segments in Taiwan and broader Asian markets.
Dermatouch develops formulations aimed at addressing skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, dark circles, and dryness. Its product range is built around clinically proven active ingredients and positions itself as a skin-safe alternative to conventional cosmetics. The brand’s stated focus is on achieving a flawless complexion regardless of skin tone, a positioning that differentiates it from fairness-centric products common in the region.
For Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting-L.D Waxson Taiwan, the acquisition adds a specialized skincare portfolio to its existing consumer goods offerings. The move aligns with the company’s strategy to expand into higher-growth personal care categories, particularly those with medical or clinical credibility. Dermatouch’s distribution and brand equity in the dermocosmetics segment are expected to complement Wipro’s established retail and supply chain capabilities.
The combined entity will likely leverage Dermatouch’s product expertise with Wipro’s operational scale to broaden market reach. Integration efforts will focus on maintaining the brand’s clinical positioning while introducing it to new geographies where Wipro already has a presence. No changes to Dermatouch’s product formulations or core team have been announced as part of the deal.
The acquisition is expected to close following standard regulatory approvals. Post-transaction, Dermatouch will operate under Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting-L.D Waxson Taiwan’s umbrella, with its existing product lines continuing to be marketed under the Dermatouch name.
